Dubai’s Marquee
Distance Race.

Every major city has one marathon that brings the whole community onto the same course, from first-timers to the world’s best. This is Dubai’s. Inaugurated in 2000 and sanctioned by World Athletics, it runs each winter from the Dubai Police Academy on Jumeirah Road.

The second fastest city in marathon history, the first race to see seven men under 2:05 in a single day, and ranked sixth in the YouGov UAE Sport Buzz poll, up eleven places year on year. For a partner it is a full day of health, family and city pride, with the cameras on.
