Built For Records.

Sanctioned by the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority and held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, this is the Middle East’s premier festival of endurance running. Since 2007 the world’s best have raced here, Peres Jepchirchir, Hellen Obiri and Geoffrey Kamworor among them, with average winning times faster than any other half marathon.

One island, one flat course, a start and finish in the event village. February brings cool air, low humidity and clear skies: the conditions for personal bests. Behind the elite race, a whole community weekend, from first-time 2 km runners to club athletes chasing a half marathon time.
