At Special Olympics UAE, every athlete on the floor has the whole hall behind them. Families, volunteers, teachers, government officials and corporate partners, all pulling one way. A brand that stands with the athletes stands with everyone in the room.

The UAE Games gather athletes, students and unified partners from every emirate under the National Strategy for Empowering People of Determination. Partners meet each other at the Partners Platform Day and at networking events with government entities and leading corporates.
The scale
Seven emirates, 32 sports, world stages
Abu Dhabi hosted the Special Olympics World Summer Games in 2019, the first in the Middle East and North Africa, with 290 UAE athletes competing. In October 2025 the UAE women’s team won the first Unified Volleyball World Cup in Katowice and took the Unified Team Award. At home, the programme runs across every emirate, all year.
