Last updated 7 October 2026
This notice explains how ES Sport collects, uses, shares and protects personal information, and the rights you have over it. It applies to this website, es-sport.ae, and to the enquiries and bookings we handle.
It replaces the notice dated 27 September 2024.
1. Who we are
ES Sport is the trading name of Expat Sport Tourism FZCO, a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (registered office: 1807 Indigo Icon Tower, Cluster F, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates).
Expat Sport Tourism FZCO is the controller of your personal data for enquiries made through this website and for bookings made with us. You can contact us about this notice at info@es-sport.ae, by phone on +971 4 435 6612, or by post at the address above.
2. The information we collect
When you enquire. Your name, email address, phone number, company (if given), what you are interested in, your message, the page you enquired from, and the time of your enquiry.
When you book. The details needed to deliver what you have booked. Depending on the booking these can include: the names, dates of birth, nationalities and passport details of everyone travelling, for tickets, hotels, flights, visas and venue accreditation; dietary requirements, accessibility needs and relevant medical information, for hospitality, travel and team tours; emergency contact details; and your payment details, which are handled by our payment provider and not stored by us in full.
Team tours and young people. Team tours often include players under 18. We collect their details (including medical, dietary and emergency contact information) from the club, school or organisation running the tour, or from a parent or guardian, and only what is needed to run the tour safely. We do not market to anyone under 18.
When you use the website. Technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and how you found us, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 9).
When you contact us or we contact you. The content of emails, calls and messages, and our records of them.
We do not collect genetic or biometric data, information about religion or political opinions, or financial account details beyond what the payment provider passes back to confirm a payment.
3. Why we use it, and on what basis
We use personal information for the purposes below, each on the legal basis shown.
- To answer an enquiry and quote for it: taking steps at your request before a contract.
- To deliver a booking (tickets, hospitality, hotels, flights, transfers, visas, accreditation, tours): performance of the contract with you.
- To pass traveller, dietary, accessibility and medical details to the organiser, venue, hotel or airline that needs them: performance of the contract; for health information, your explicit consent or the protection of the traveller’s vital interests.
- To keep accounting, tax and compliance records: legal obligation.
- To run team tours safely, including safeguarding of young people: legal obligation and legitimate interest.
- To send you news about events and offers: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep the website secure and understand how it is used: legitimate interest.
- To establish, exercise or defend legal claims: legitimate interest.
4. Who we share it with
Only as needed to deliver what you have asked for, or where the law requires it:
- event organisers, rights holders and venues (for example the promoters of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the Emirates Dubai 7s, UFC Abu Dhabi, the DP World Tour Championship and the other events we sell), for ticketing, hospitality and accreditation;
- hotels, airlines, transfer and ground-handling companies, visa processing services and tour venues;
- our customer relationship system (Zoho CRM), our email and office systems, our website host and our payment provider;
- Google (analytics, advertising measurement and reCAPTCHA) and Vimeo (video players), through the website;
- our professional advisers, insurers and auditors;
- regulators, courts and law enforcement where required by law.
We do not sell personal data.
5. International transfers
We operate from the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, and the organisers, hotels and providers we work with may be in the country of the event or elsewhere. Where personal data leaves the country it was collected in, we rely on the safeguards available under the applicable law, such as a contract with the recipient that requires it to protect the data, and we share only what the recipient needs.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: 24 months from the last contact.
- Bookings and the records that support them: seven years after the event, for accounting and tax purposes.
- Traveller details passed to organisers, hotels and airlines: deleted from our systems 12 months after the event, unless needed for a claim or a legal requirement.
- Marketing preferences: until you withdraw consent, and then a record of the withdrawal.
7. Your rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), the UK GDPR and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you can ask us to: tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; move it to another provider; and withdraw consent you have given.
Write to info@es-sport.ae with “Privacy request” in the subject. We will reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
8. Security
We protect personal data with access controls, encrypted connections to this website and our systems, and contractual obligations on the providers who process it for us. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
This website uses:
- Essential cookies that make the site work (page caching and security). These cannot be switched off.

You can control cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working.
10. Links to other websites
Our pages link to organisers, venues and partners. Their websites have their own privacy notices, which we do not control.
